Hey there! We are from Lower Saxony in northern Germany – flat land, plenty of wind, and hardly any real rock. Maybe that’s exactly why climbing got under our skin early on. We’ve been into mountain sports since 1989, always chasing height, movement, and that unique feeling of sticking the next hold. But over the years, one thing kept bothering us: climbing shirts were… well, let’s be honest – pretty boring. Same old designs, no humor, no personality, nothing that really captured what climbing is all about. So in 2026, We decided that was enough.

That’s how pumpedpongo was born – a brand that finally brings humor, character, and a bit of cheekiness into climbing and bouldering apparel. Designs that don’t take themselves too seriously, but instead reflect what our sport truly is: sometimes absurd, often tough, but always a lot of fun. Because for us, it’s simple: humor beats seriousness, community beats ego, and sustainability beats a throwaway mentality. Climbing has always been about people, shared moments, and respect – not just performance. Long story short: if you’re getting pumped, you might as well do it with style.

We ensure that all our shirts meet at least GOTS standards, including organic cotton and sustainable manufacturing practices.

In traditional retail, products are made in bulk ahead of time to cut costs. But this often leads to overproduction—items that don’t sell are thrown away or even burned. In fact, the fashion industry alone discards about 92 million tons of textiles each year. In this shop every item is made only after an order is placed. This means there’s no leftover stock, and nothing gets produced without a buyer, which helps reduce waste. This may occasionally result in slightly longer delivery times.
